Maranatha Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation exists to empower your independence following injury.

What is Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation? (aka PMR)

Injuries can occur suddenly or over a period of time during the lifetime of an individual that leads to physical limitations. Prompt physician evaluation and treatment is the first step to maximizing physical recovery and independence. Physiatrists are medical doctors who specialize in the development of individualized non-operative treatment plans to manage the physical effects of debilitating conditions. We partner with you throughout the rehabilitation process to maximize your independence and improve your quality of life.

Physiatrists also specialize in “pre-habilitation” the process of optimizing your current health and physical condition to prevent disability or to maximize recovery from an injury, a medical illness, or a surgical procedure. Our focus is on your wellness.

Physical medicine & rehabilitation is necessary in the treatment of any neurological, musculoskeletal, or medical condition that impairs normal body function. We are here to support you in your goals of recovery, wellness, and independence.
