As a new physical medicine and rehabilitation center in El Paso, TX, our goal is to enhance the community by empowering individuals to pursue independence and happiness in their overall lives.

We focus on the connection between your health, body, and mind in an effort to improve your quality of life. Receiving Treatment at Our Center
Our role in your recovery is to provide you with the highest level of patient care and personalized treatment. Each individual you encounter at our center is a reflection of our collective values as a team, which are to treat our patients with respect, grace, and kindness. As your provider of physical medicine and rehabilitation services, we will also promote communication between physical therapists, rehabilitation nurses, and physiatrists.
We provide services to adults 17 years or older and focus on the non-operative neuromuscular and musculoskeletal needs of our aging society. We accept major insurance providers including workers’ compensation.

About Dr. Lisa Barrett
As the Medical Director and Founder of Maranatha Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Dr. Barrett is a board-certified physiatrist with expertise in the diagnosis and rehabilitation management of acute and chronic disabling conditions of the neurological and musculoskeletal systems. Her practice aims to serve members of the El Paso community with traumatic and non-traumatic brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, multiple sclerosis, movement disorders, peripheral neuropathy, amputations, degenerative joint disorders, medical debility, and fibromyalgia. In addition, she holds a special interest in the rehabilitation of injured workers and pre-habilitation of seniors for maintenance of functional independence.
